The canvas is by far the most exciting thing about html5 for me, though I've not really had the chance to do more than poke at it all a bit.

We had our 10th Wedding anniversary at the Rat Inn recently, and I had the best steak I have ever had - served with watercress and proper chips.

Peter, we would have to agree...
...we are noticing more and more individuals/companies setting up websites using WordPress where they wouldn't be able to otherwise. Enabling people with very limited knowledge in design code etc. to have a web based presence can only be a good thing.
P.S. we came across your site and think the content and information is very helpful, thanks.

WordPress is free and very easy for non-technical users to add content to their site without worrying about layout and design elements. The output from WordPress is still html of course!

OK, Note to self: Do 'HMRC Company Tax Return' BEFORE doing the 'Companies House' return, the latter is very much a subset of the former. The former was submitted this evening. Had to use HMRC to calculate my corporation tax (or buy more software) and it matched the value I already sent to Companies House yesterday (to the penny)... phew!

Hi Peter,

In addition to 5secondtest, also consider www.unbounce.co.uk for A/B testing your websites for conversion.

Regards

Hi Peter,

Thanks for coming along yesterday and I'm glad you found the seminar useful and took away a few handy tips you consider for your own business.

I appreciate you may have been wanting something a little more technical but I am sure you understand we had a very diverse audience to address yesterday and had we been too technical many would have been lost interest and switched off.

If are interested in learning some more of the technical finer points I am sure Neil Hancock who presented with me would be happy to discuss.

All the best,

Neil Robbins

I've tried a few times to post through flickr, and after the first attempt non of them have worked. No email failure response, nothing. I have enough bandwidth availability on my free account - so this is really disappointing. The above post was sent through posterous. It correctly stripped my email footer, uses the subject as the title. Tags within the post have come through as 'categories' within wordpress. So I added tags later manually. The linked-in link was back to the posterous page, as does the image link. The posterous post didn't succeed sending to flickr... grrr, something wrong with flickr. Nice thumbnail auto-generated again for the snippet.
