SEO Seminar at RMT by Silverbean

I attended the SEO seminar by Silverbean this afternoon… It was at the RMT (the accountants) offices. It was pretty good, and did go into some detail about keyword densities and anchor text. But of course it wasn’t as technical as it might have been (they do have a service to sell). Learn’t some useful stuff about the layout and copy needed for good landing pages. I’m also going to sign up for the recommended five second test website and do some testing to see how some of my websites do.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for coming along yesterday and I’m glad you found the seminar useful and took away a few handy tips you consider for your own business.

I appreciate you may have been wanting something a little more technical but I am sure you understand we had a very diverse audience to address yesterday and had we been too technical many would have been lost interest and switched off.

If are interested in learning some more of the technical finer points I am sure Neil Hancock who presented with me would be happy to discuss.

    All the best,

    Neil Robbins

    Hi Peter,

In addition to 5secondtest, also consider http://www.unbounce.co.uk for A/B testing your websites for conversion.
