Another financial year-end at Digital Acorn, and the first full year using the ClearBooks online accounting software. I wouldn’t exactly say I’m looking forward to doing my corporation tax calculation or HMRC submission, however entering all of the data has been significantly easier this year. I used Sage previously, having been ‘advised’ by an ex-accountant, presumably for a commission. As a software and web-developer; I appreciate the simplicity of ClearBooks. It is not without minor glitches but is head and shoulders above the likes of Sage from a usability point of view. I’d recommend anyone give it a try.
