Digital acorn has been developing websites on and off for 15 years, mainly as a hobby, but more recently - commercially. It is easier than game programming and makes a pleasant change. As an experienced programmer I am fully familiar with the technologies and syntax required to produce an efficient and compliant website. We also have artistic, content creation and quality assurance professionals available to ensure your site is everything you should expect.
Digital Acorn operates out of the historic abbey town of Hexham, set in the beautiful Tyne Valley. Hexham is situated in Northumberland, a few miles south of Hadrian's Wall and about 20 miles from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Our local clients enjoy face to face meetings whenever required. We are also happy to deal with national and international clients by email and telephone.
In addition to new developments we are more than happy to recover and repair existing problem sites. Just send the details of your site and we can prepare a no-obligation report on the current status with proposals for improvements.
Depending upon your needs we can configure a content management system, with bespoke customisations if required, to allow you to edit and update your own site easily. Alternatively we can produce a simple 'static' site if this is your preferred option.
